Although Nadi is not known for its beaches, it has a few beaches near the town center and within a short drive from the Nadi International Airport. The closest beach is Wailoaloa Beach located on Nadi Bay. The beach is a few kilometers long and is quite picturesque with the surrounding mountains and views to the Mamanuca Islands. There are also white sandy beaches located to the north of Nadi near First Landing Resort at Vuda Point and to the south there are also beaches where the sand is a more darker colour.
