Nadi Fiji
Nadi is a small but busy town on the north-western coastline of Viti Levu, Fiji's largest island. It sits on a large bay known as Nadi Bay, an expansive bay that curves from Denarau Island to the west right round to Vuda Point to the north-east. The bay is said to be the remains of a volcano and is dotted by many beautiful small islands ringed with white sandy beaches. Nadi sits on a level plain by the bay, which is encircled by craggy inland highlands, providing a picturesque setting. Nadi is known as the ' gateway to the Fiji Islands ' so the many thousands of visitors to this popular South Pacific holiday destination can enjoy a picturesque view of Fiji as their flight descends and lands at the bay-side International airport.
